High School Student Art Banner Project
Celebrating young artists across Okaloosa County with banners displayed throughout Cinco Bayou
How Students Get Featured
Okaloosa County high school art teachers submit four original pieces from their students. Selected designs are printed on full-size vertical banners and installed along Eglin Parkway. Banners remain up for one year, and students receive a $50 award plus their banner to keep afterward.
- August–September: Teacher outreach and rules sent
- December 1: Submission Deadline
- January–February: Banners printed and shipped
- March: Public installation along Eglin Parkway
- Following Spring: Banners returned to students
